Denise is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, providing therapy to adult individuals and couples. She earned her M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Northwestern University and trained at The Family Institute at Northwestern. Denise specializes in working with clients dealing with anxiety, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship issues, and stress management.

Denise’s therapeutic approach is interactive, warm, and with a sense of humor. She meets clients where they are and provides a non-judgmental space for them to better understand their feelings. Denise primarily practices from a psychodynamic and relational foundation and integrates acceptance and commitment therapy as well as mindfulness. Denise strives to create a compassionate environment, and tailors treatment to each client’s unique needs.

Denise sees clients in Lake Forest, Winnetka, and via telehealth.
