Jean is a bilingual Korean American mental health professional. Jean developed her interest in counseling through her struggle with performance anxiety as a musician. During her clinical training at Wheaton College Counseling Center, Jean offered individualized therapy sessions to students with a wide range of concerns using an integrative approach incorporating Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral, and Solution-Focused Therapies. Jean graduated with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wheaton Graduate School.
Besides counseling, Jean is also passionate about music education and performance. Jean likes to design and deliver personalized music lessons for her students of different ages and levels. Jean performs occasionally as a soloist and chamber musician.
