Bryton is a Clinical Counselor trainee completing a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family therapy. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Illinois College. Bryton believes respecting the client’s expertise in their own experiences is essential to encourage successful therapeutic outcomes. She is passionate about helping clients discover the root of their challenges from a psychoanalytical lens while offering person-centered, dialectical behavioral therapy and experiential interventions.
Bryton is enthusiastic about helping children and adolescents through life transitions and social challenges. Her specific areas of interest include multicultural individuals, clients struggling with body image/self-esteem, and clients working through anxiety and depression. Bryton creates a safe space for her clients to work through these challenges through authenticity, empathy, and understanding. During her free time, Bryton likes to spend time with family, weight lift, practice yoga, read, try new cuisines, and watch TV series/movies.
