Before you make the most important decision of your life, it’s worth taking the fun and insightful program that’s been scientifically proven to improve relationship dynamics and relationship skills.
At SamaraCare we combine the PREPARE/ENRICH survey, the nation’s top online premarital survey, with the counselor-led, six-hour group workshop. It’s an excellent way to build a strong foundation for a healthy marriage, because you’ll learn new skills on how to strengthen communication, understanding and intimacy.
The Survey
The first step is to register for a Workshop by selecting a date from the list below. Once you’ve registered, both of you will receive a link and login code via email to complete the PREPARE survey. The survey is taken individually, prior to the workshop. Allow approximately 30-45 minutes to complete. The survey results provide a current snapshot of your relationships: your relationship strengths and areas where you could grow.
The Workshop
At the workshop you’ll receive and review your personalized PREPARE/ENRICH survey results.
Couples will also:
- Identify strength and growth areas
- Learn helpful communication skills
- Practice a ten-step model for conflict resolution
- Discuss financial goals
- Talk about digital technology usage
- Discover the benefits and challenges of blending family backgrounds
- Explore how to build on each other’s strengths
- Learn how to have a close, yet balanced, relationship

The Premarital Program is $300 per couple and includes the PREPARE/ENRICH online survey, six-hour group workshop, workshop materials, continental breakfast and lunch. Programs are held on Saturdays in area churches from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Program participants are also eligible to receive a private, two-hour follow-up session at a reduced price of $150. This offer is available for one year after a couple’s wedding date.
