By its very nature, adolescence can be awkward and challenging. Add in pressures from school, family, friends and society, and being a “healthy, well-adjusted teenager” can prove to be difficult. Getting a teenager to admit they’re not feeling well can also be difficult when they often just want to fit in and be accepted.
We’re specialists in addressing the concerns and behaviors of teens with counseling that’s relevant, interesting and effective. With individual and/or family counseling, we’ll help your teenager replace old, ineffective and harmful choices and behaviors with conscious, effective and constructive choices and behaviors. With better decision-making skills, teens are more likely and more capable of having genuine, rewarding and positive relationships. And of course, the skills they learn now will serve them well for the rest of their lives.
