Job Description:

Founded 52 years ago, SamaraCare is a mission-driven nonprofit organization providing counseling and psychiatric services to clients in-person and via telehealth. We currently have openings for licensed therapists to join our team. Serving six counties in Chicagoland, our stellar reputation provides steady client referrals. Our leadership and staff create a collegial and collaborative work environment. We offer flexibility and autonomy for our clinicians as well as support and consultation.

Our clinicians work with a variety of client issues, including anxiety, depression, autism spectrum, grief, learning disabilities, marital and family conflict, PTSD, and trauma recovery. Many of our clients have health insurance, however we provide reduced cost care to the uninsured, underinsured or those facing financial hardships. We also offer our therapists training in spiritually integrated counseling for clients interested in this option.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Current Illinois LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, Psy.D. licensure
  • Bilingual in Spanish, a plus
  • Medicare provider, plus
