Amber Graham has eight years of professional experience supporting adolescents and adults. Amber received her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy with an emphasis in Clinical Counseling from Pepperdine University. Prior to obtaining her Master’s from Pepperdine, Amber received a Master’s in Higher Education Administration from Virginia Tech, where she worked for 10 years in Facility Operations, Multicultural Affairs, and Campus Safety.
She specializes in a wide variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, grief, substance misuse and addiction, major life transitions, spirituality, PTSD, and trauma. She understands that life can bring challenges and is dedicated to walking alongside her clients as they navigate these experiences. Amber is also passionate about working with the LGBTQ+ community and has provided personal identity-affirming care for many clients throughout her career.
Amber primarily works from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) lens to help clients explore new perspectives, build a strong toolbox of coping skills, and create meaningful change. She is known for her compassionate, collaborative style, helping clients strengthen boundaries, improve communication, and foster healthier connections with the people in their lives.
At the heart of her work, Amber believes that healing flourishes when we feel seen, understood, and supported. She creates a welcoming and compassionate space where clients can explore challenges, build strength, and move forward with confidence and clarity.
In her free time, Amber enjoys cycling, reading, traveling, learning guitar, and playing with her corgi, Juno. She also enjoys cooking and spending time with her family and friends
Amber sees patients in-person at the Naperville location on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (morning through afternoon) and Telehealth services Monday, Thursday and Friday (morning through evenings)
