“I am committed to accompanying clients as they mindfully get in touch with their whole selves and authentically connect with others, discovering meaning in their lives despite the obstacles that may prevail.”
Eunsil is a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor with an MA from the CACREP-accredited Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Wheaton College. During her graduate studies, Eunsil’s focus was on trauma-informed care, culminating in the attainment of a Trauma Certificate.
Eunsil values holistic, evidence-based care of her clients. Due to her clinical experience with adolescents, young adults, and adults at the partial hospitalization/intensive outpatient level of care, her techniques are informed by approaches such as Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Language interpreting work and years of people care experience in church ministry settings have also led Eunsil to be attentive to the whole person, being curious about family, culture, and other systemic factors impacting the person’s life.
Having grown up in different countries, Eunsil enjoys traveling, walking in the forest preserve, and spending time with her family and friends.
