“My approach is attentive, compassionate, and holistic. I offer evaluations and treatment for children, adolescents, and their families. In this ever-changing world, hallmarked by the recent pandemic and widespread use of technology, my special interests include supporting children through life transitions, anxiety, depression, and ADHD.
When a child feels seen, heard, valued, and supported by their parents and others they trust, they feel safer and more secure. This enables them to explore and enjoy the world around them and more fully apply themself. I believe family involvement is essential for the child’s growth and success. I work to strengthen Parent-child relationships through increasing understanding, positive communication, and quality time spent together. I also support children to develop positive thinking, self-esteem, personal values, and a healthy lifestyle. We can reflect how spiritual beliefs can give meaning to our life experience. When supportive interventions are not enough, we can work together to consider the role of careful medication treatment.”
