Maddie is a therapist who has been working with children, adolescents, and young adults for over 8 years. Maddie earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Georgia. She received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, minoring in Human Development and Family Sciences, and a Master of Education in Professional Counseling. Maddie is also a Registered Play Therapist™.
Maddie practices from a client-centered and holistic approach, considering all areas of a client’s life to help them find success and meet clients where they are at. Maddie aims to provide a safe and empathetic space for each of her clients. She primarily uses cognitive behavioral therapy and play therapy to help clients on their healing journey.
Maddie primarily focuses on working with individuals with concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral issues, self-esteem, and coping skills development. As a Registered Play Therapist™, Maddie is able to specialize in seeing children as young as 3 to meet the child where they are at by using their language, play.
