Madi is a Clinical Counselor Trainee currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Benedictine University. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and is passionate about supporting individuals as they navigate life’s challenges. Madi is committed to creating a welcoming, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout their therapeutic journey.
Madi practices client-centered care that incorporates a holistic approach, allowing her to meet the client’s specific needs. She strives to provide a safe space through empathy and understanding for all clients to share their needs and goals for therapy.
Madi utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and play therapy techniques in her treatment of anxiety, depression, social and emotional functioning, behavioral issues, OCD, and coping skills development. With her understanding of play therapy and the benefits it can provide a client, she aims to help children as young as 4 years-old in therapy using play as an outlet of expression.
