“I strive to help individuals overcome obstacles and difficulties that keep them from reaching their desired goals and living lives that are marked by peace, meaning, and freedom. I try to do this in a collaborative and respectful manner—in the context of a therapeutic relationship.”
Dr. Dzikowski is a licensed clinical psychologist. He received his doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the Institute for the Psychological Sciences in Arlington, Virgina. He has assisted individuals with a wide range of clinical challenges and difficulties. Dr. Dzikowski has a particular interest in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), especially when symptoms include religious worries and scrupulosity.
In therapy, Dr. Dzikowski primarily uses Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Schema Therapy. He also uses aspects of psychodynamic therapy, exposure and response prevention, acceptance and values-based strategies, as well as other interventions, based on an individual’s needs, preferences, and sensitivities.
