Maureen is a therapist with over 10 years of experience practicing individual and group therapy in various outpatient and hospital settings. Maureen specializes in treating children, adolescents, and adults of diverse backgrounds with a variety of presenting concerns including anxiety, depression, self-injury, PTSD, and autism spectrum disorders. She is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) who also specializes in trauma recovery.
Maureen received her B.A. in Psychology from Indiana University and her M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Benedictine University. She implements a variety of treatment modalities and therapeutic techniques including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) as well as incorporates art and play into therapy sessions. Maureen addresses the unique needs of the client and tailors her approach to meet the specific needs of the individual.
In her free time, Maureen enjoys gardening, watching movies, traveling, and playing video games. She is a fierce competitor in Mario Kart. Maureen also loves cooking and exploring new recipes, as well as making unique charcuterie boards to snack on while spending time with family.
