Mika earned a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance from Oberlin College and Conservatory with a Music and Cognition Minor and is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work from the University of Chicago. The value of serving others was instilled in him from a young age, and he has been drawn to counseling since high school. Mika brings compassion and empathy to the table and works to build strong therapeutic relationships with clients to effectively collaborate to facilitate healing and growth. His background in music has given him creative tools to adapt to each client’s specific situation and needs.
Outside of clinical work, Mika enjoys playing and listening to music, watching football, and spending quality time with friends and family.
