Good Shepherd Church will host this one-night symposium on adversity, trauma and healing.
Dr. Scott Mitchell, the President and CEO of SamaraCare, his colleague, psychologist Dr. Char Slezak, as well as North Central College professor, Tammy Wynard, will talk about how adverse experiences impact people’s behavior, health and well-being. Pastor Glen Wagner will discuss the role of faith in healing from traumatic experiences.
