Bonnie has extensive experience working with adults, adolescents, and their families, treating a wide variety of personal and interpersonal problems such as anxiety disorders, depression and stress, family conflict, PTSD, grief and loss, and substance misuse and addiction. She is also trained and experienced in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, which aids in healing trauma, anxiety, grief/loss, and other concerns. Bonnie’s treatment modalities include individual and family therapy.

Bonnie received an M.A. in Counseling from DePaul University in Chicago. She also earned her substance misuse and addiction certification. She worked in a west suburban hospital for over 8 eight years, having some experience in an in-patient psychiatric setting and eventually, coordinating the adolescent BHS PHP program; she has been working in private practice since then. Bonnie is a member of the American and Illinois Counseling Associations.
